Industroclean Namibia

In 1980 Industroclean (Pty) Ltd was formed. The founding directors, Arthur Bath, Dave Manson and Terence Waterston recognised the need to create a niche business that was focused on offering customers exemplary service and choice and, most importantly, was prepared to work with any client irrespective of its size or status. In March 1982 Industroclean and Wetrok signed an agreement which laid the foundation for Industroclean to become a significant supplier of cleaning equipment and consumables on the South African cleaning landscape. In 1984 Industroclean successfully applied for a licence to locally manufacture Wetrok branded chemicals to supplement Industroclean's existing chemical range. Securing both the equipment and the chemical licence gave Industroclean an incredible edge with the capability to offer a one-stop total solution to customers that considerably increased exposure for the brand. The next watershed in Industroclean’s journey was the launch of the hospital cleaning method. This was a dramatic departure from what was common practice at the time and today Industroclean is exceptionally proud of the fact that the SAQA Unit Standard principles for hospital cleaning are still based on its cleaning method. The head office is located in Honeydew, north-west of Johannesburg, and there are 11 branches across South Africa and a distributor in Namibia. In 2002 Industroclean established the Siyaya Skills Institute – a hugely successful skills training initiative that has brought the role of the cleaner out of the washroom closet and into the spotlight, meeting a need that was driven by the changing face of SA’s economy and government’s massive skills development drive. In 2010 Industroclean became a distributor for the Nilfisk range of cleaning equipment in South Africa. This allowed Industroclean to offer a much broader range of equipment and greater levels of innovation that had previously been available to customers, providing excellent quality, backup service and great value. Industroclean has never marketed a cleaning concept based only on price -- there are greater considerations than just initial costs – performance, maintenance and servicing, spares availability, reliability and trade-in or residual value. Cost-efficiency, reliability and back-up are prime considerations and are an essential element of the Industroclean offering. Industro-clean has ISO 9000 quality management system accreditation from the SABS and was recently awarded a Level 4 BBBEE status by Transformex. The company is an active member of several professional bodies, including being a founding member of the National Contract Cleaners Association (NCCA), Industroclean is also an active member with the International Sanitary Supplies Association (ISSA). In 2014 Industroclean became part of the Nilfisk Group a global leader in cleaning, securing the company's future as the leading supplier of cleaning equipment and cleaning chemical products in Southern Africa. Industroclean is also a distributor for HOST Carpet Cleaning Systems, Unger Window Cleaning Products, Chicopee Wipes, PacVac, Rubbermaid, Vileda and Filmop, all products that form part of a comprehensive product and solutions offering to our customers.
