Biotin – How to make your hair grow faster

Biotin – How to make your hair grow faster

Biotin is a B12 vitamin supplement that is famous for promoting healthy hair and nail growth. Studies show that Biotin also helps breakdown carbohydrates and speeds up the metabolism. How much should you take before you start to see results? Is it really the miracle supplement that will solve your slow hair growth issues? Here is a list of things you should keep in mind when taking this supplement that will ultimately lead to thicker hair, healthier nails and a faster metabolism!

1) Biotin is naturally found in a variety of food sources such as cucumbers, oats, dried fruit, eggs, cabbage, milk, cauliflower, raspberries and strawberries.

2) Remember to take a good quality multivitamin and get plenty of exercise for maximum results. A healthier body leads to healthier hair.

To prevent acne, take a lower dose and drink plenty of water while taking Biotin. The recommended dose for anyone over 19 years old is 30-100 mcg (micrograms) a day.

4) If you are pregnant, taking high doses of Biotin can be harmful for your pregnancy so BE CAREFUL and be sure to consult your Dr. before you begin taking it.

Keeping a monthly hair photo-diary will show gradual thicker, longer and ultimately healthier hair. Be sure to consult your doctor when taking Biotin for safe and maximum benefits.
